Residents of Windsor Square were lucky enough to have Mary Pickhardt as one of the distinguished speakers for the Annual Meeting. Mary, an accomplished architect, has served on the HPOZ Board for many years and was kind enough to assemble an HPOZ update for us to post on our website. It’s wonderfully informative and full of illustrations. Residents, new and old are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the HPOZ. It certainly has been one of our neighborhood’s greatest achievements and will protect it for future generations of homeowners. As the ten-year anniversary of our HPOZ designation nears, there will be a review and update of the Windsor Square HPOZ Preservation Plan. The update will seek the input of the community and will be coordinated by the Planning Department and Office of Historic Resources.
