Windsor Square is one of the oldest and most well-preserved neighborhoods in Los Angeles. With its broad lawns, mature trees and central location five miles west of downtown, Windsor Square is a garden oasis in the heart of a world-class city.

We are proud of the historic integrity of our 1,100 homes and the ethnic diversity among our neighbors. We also share a community spirit that the L.A. Times called “Mayberry-esque.” The friendly shopping village on Larchmont Boulevard is a short walk from most homes. Neighbors plant trees together and watch out for each other’s children. Some streets have been holding annual block parties for 30 years.

In 2004, Windsor Square became the 21st Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) in the City of Los Angeles. Eighty nine percent (89%) of its homes and structures were identified as being Historic Contributors in the Historic Resources Survey, one of the most intact historic neighborhoods in the nation.
